Simple Audio Amplifier Circuit Using AN7523N IC

This diagram explains how to build a basic 12V audio amplifier circuit using the AN7523N IC. It’s ideal for powering small speakers (like a 6-inch unit) and can be used for home audio projects, DIY speaker systems, or learning amplifier fundamentals.

Key Components:

  • IC AN7523N: The main amplifier chip that boosts the audio signal.
  • Speaker (6 inch): Outputs the amplified sound.
  • Battery (12V): Power source for the entire circuit.
  • Tone Control Board (Mono 12V): Adjusts bass, treble, and balance.
  • Potentiometer (10K): Used for master volume control.
  • Capacitors & Resistors: Provide filtering and stability for clean sound output.

Working Principle:

Audio input is fed through the tone control circuit and then to the AN7523N amplifier IC. The IC amplifies the signal using 12V power and delivers it to the speaker with improved volume and clarity.

💡 Tip: Use a heat sink for the IC to prevent overheating during long use.
