Temperature Sensors measure heat or cold and convert it into an electrical signal. Common types include:

  • Thermocouples – generate voltage based on temperature difference.
  • RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors) – change resistance with temperature.
  • Thermistors – resistance changes sharply with temperature.
